Day 147 (Allen's Hummingbird)

This is an Allen's Hummingbird I saw at the Griffith Observatory in LA.  I have never had a hummingbird let me get this close before.  I was literally about two feet away.  He seemed very unconcerned about me.  He was methodically going from flower to flower and didn't mind me at all.

Day 146 (Street Lamps)

 The Los Angeles Museum of Art had an outdoor exhibit of old street lamps.  At night, they turned on all the lamps and the effect was gorgeous.  Of course, this created the perfect backdrop for lots of photographers.

Day 138 (Snow Alley)

We took a bit of a hike to walk all the way to the top of this road, but it was worth it!  We had a marvelous ride down the hill.  At least, if you were light enough, you could stay on top of the snow.  With three of us on a sled,  we were quite heavy and I couldn't see to steer, so we crashed every few seconds.
